SRJC Bookstore Gift Card FAQ:

May I use my SRJC Bookstore Gift Card for online purchases? For in-store purchases? Yes. You may use your SRJC Bookstore gift card for both online and in-store purchases at the Santa Rosa Campus Bookstore.

Is my SRJC Bookstore Gift Card good at both campus Bookstores?
Yes.

Is there an expiration date ? No.

What if my Gift Card is lost or stolen? Can it be replaced?  No. Your gift card cannot be replaced, so please treat it like cash. If it is lost or stolen, the Bookstore cannot replace it so please keep it secure.

May I redeem my Gift Card for cash?   Your gift card is good for merchandise or supplies from the SRJC Bookstore and may not be redeemed for cash.

What can I purchase with my Gift Card? May I purchase food? Textbooks? Supplies? Movie Passes? Bus Passes?   You may use your gift card in person to purchase anything that is sold at the SRJC Bookstore. For online purchases, you may use your gift card to purchase anything except reference books, movies and music, which are sold through an online partner whose system does not at this time support our SRJC Bookstore gift card (of course you may use any major credit card for these purchases).

May I purchase a Gift Card online and have someone else pick it up?   Yes. As long as you notate at the time of order the name of the person to release it to (they must show a photo ID), we are happy to have it waiting here for them.

May I purchase a gift card online and have it mailed to me (or someone else)?   Yes. Gift cards may be shipped either FED-EX/UPS or USPS (United States Postal Service).  All other items can only be shipped FED-EX/UPS.  There are two differences between shipping gift cards FED-EX/UPS or USPS - cost and liability.  If a gift card is being shipped by itself, USPS will cost $2.00 for shipping and FED-EX/UPS costs $8.00.  For $8.00, FED-EX/UPS provides a tracking number so that your item may be tracked along its journey from the Bookstore to its destination, as well as confirmation of delivery.  USPS does not provide such assurances.  Because of this difference, if USPS is selected as the shipping method, the Bookstore will not be responsible for the loss of any card after it is mailed to you via USPS.  If a gift card is being shipped with other items, then FED-EX/UPS must be selected and the shipping costs are $8.00 for the first item, $1.00 for each additional, and total shipping costs will not exceed $10.00.

May I give my Gift Card to someone else to use?   Yes. Remember, this Gift Card is the same as cash, so anyone in possession of it may use it. Therefore, please ensure that you keep it secure and only give it those you trust and have authorized to use it. The Bookstore is not responsible for unauthorized Gift Card use and will not replace any value resulting from unauthorized use.

Are SRJC Bookstore Gift Cards returnable?   No. Once issued, your gift card must be redeemed for merchandise and supplies and may not be returned.

Are SRJC Bookstore Gift Cards good at other campus departments, such as the cafeteria? No, SRJC Bookstore gift cards may only be redeemed for merchandise at the Bookstore and have no connection to other campus departments.

How do I check my Gift Card balance?   You may check the balance of your gift card in four ways:
-Call 1-866-855-4898 (have your card handy)
-Refer to your last receipt (if you have one).
-Any cashier in the Santa Rosa or Petaluma stores can check for you at any register (your card must be present)
-You can check your balance online at this site. First you must create a customer account for shopping in the "log in" section of this site (the bottom menu item at left). After you have created a profile for using this site, one of your options upon login will be "Gift Card Balance Inquiry".

Can I keep a gift card “on file” in the Bookstore for my student?   Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for your “live” gift card once it is issued. Remember, a “live” gift card is like cash, so it is always best for you to maintain possession of it at all times.
