Overview

Pioneer Hall is the first building built on the Santa Rosa campus and was completed on May 29, 1931.The Bookstore moved to Pioneer Hall over 40 years ago during Spring Break 1973. In the 1960s, the state legislature mandated that public buildings meet the Field Act requirement for earthquake protection. Pioneer Hall predated the Field Act, therefore it was retrofitted to maintain the architectural design and meet earthquake standards. The Bookstore originated in room 73 of Analy Hall in the 1940s. In the 1960s it moved to the Doyle Center.

SRJC Bookstore supports both the current College community and the prospective student. The Bookstore offers used and new textbooks, supplies, computer software, art materials, and a wide selection of school memorabilia.
